3D-Spatial LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data for our spatial video streaming platform, including our Meta Quest application, XR glasses applications, 3DTV applications, website (www.3d-spatial.com), and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

1. What We Do NOT Collect

To protect your privacy, we strictly limit the data our systems process:

  • No Passwords or PINs: We do not collect, request, or store passwords, PIN numbers, or security codes.

  • No Payment Data: We do not process or store credit card numbers, billing addresses, or financial payment details.

  • No Raw Spatial / Environment Mapping: Our application does not access or collect raw camera feeds, room mesh data, or physical environment tracking logs from your Meta Quest headset or XR devices.

2. Platform Account Data

Because 3D-Spatial uses third-party store platforms (such as the Meta Quest Store) for user access:

  • App-Scoped User IDs & Entitlement Tokens: When you launch the app, Meta or the relevant app store provides our servers with an anonymized, app-scoped user identifier and entitlement verification token.

  • Purpose: This account data is used solely to verify that you own or have rented a specific title, authorize video playback, and maintain your streaming licenses across your active sessions. It does not provide us with your real name or Meta account password.

3. Device & Network Data

To deliver high-quality, synchronized 3D spatial video, our servers automatically collect limited technical device data during active use:

  • Hardware Information: Device model (e.g., Meta Quest 2, Quest 3, Quest Pro, specific XR glasses hardware), operating system version, display resolution, and headset refresh rate settings.

  • Network & Connection Data: IP address, estimated general location (country/city level for regional content licensing compliance), network protocol type, and connection speed.

  • Purpose: This data allows our system to optimize 3D video decoding, automatically adjust streaming bitrates, render appropriate spatial formats, and enforce territorial licensing restrictions.

4. Streaming Performance & Telemetry Data

We collect diagnostic, streaming, and app performance telemetry to maintain service reliability and fix technical issues:

  • Playback Telemetry: Stream load times, buffering frequency, playback start/stop/pause events, frame drop counts, audio/video synchronization logs, and stream bitrate fluctuations.

  • Crash & Error Reports: Anonymized technical logs detailing system crashes, app exceptions, or video playback errors.

  • Purpose: Telemetry data is used exclusively to diagnose server or video playback issues, improve low-latency streaming performance, optimize app stability on XR hardware, and prevent technical errors.

5. Information You Voluntarily Provide

  • Newsletter Sign-ups: If you opt into our newsletter via our website or applications, we collect your email address.

  • Customer Support: If you email support@3D-Spatial.com, we collect your email address and any technical details you provide to resolve your issue.

6. How We Use Collected Information

We use the limited data collected to:

  • Verify purchase entitlements and deliver requested 3D spatial video streams.

  • Adapt video quality in real time based on your hardware capabilities and connection speed.

  • Monitor server performance, prevent stream piracy, and troubleshoot crash reports.

  • Send newsletter updates or support responses (only if requested).

Note: We do not sell, rent, or trade your data, device metrics, or telemetry logs to advertising networks or third-party data brokers.

7. Third-Party Platform Providers

Our app operates within platform ecosystems like Meta Horizon OS and the Meta Quest Store. These platforms collect hardware, store transaction, and platform-level telemetry under their own terms. Please review the Meta Quest Privacy Policy for details on how Meta manages system-level data.

8. Data Deletion Rights and Requests

You have rights regarding the data associated with your interactions with us:

  • Newsletter Unsubscribe: Click the «Unsubscribe» link at the bottom of any email to stop receiving communications.

  • Data Deletion Path: To request the deletion of your email address, customer support records, or account identifier logs, email support@3D-Spatial.com with the subject line «Data Deletion Request.» We will process your deletion request within 30 days.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Service is designed to comply with Meta Quest Store age requirements and general audience privacy standards. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we discover an inadvertent collection of data from a minor, we will delete it immediately.
